Does anyone know what the wattage is on the handwarmers?

Trying to get hotter handwarmers for my 09 800 dragon. Last year I installed the RSI high output handwarmers, didnt notice any difference. I found some atv warmers that are 14 watts on low and 24 on high.

So does any one know what the stock wattage is, before I waste my time switching them if there is no gain.

Something isn't correct if our heaters are not getting hotter than your stockers. What grip/glue combo you using with them?

Thats odd that you even changed out the stock ones. Mine get so hot that I rarely run them on hi. I have a cut winshield and run 9,000' plus and have been in -10 and my hands have never been cold. I wear old gloves also. If they start to get cold I hit HI for a min then back to medium. Have you checked all your wiring? I have read that a few have had problems with hand warmers because of wires having wear marks on them and starting to short out.

Try putting some spray foam insulation into the hollow centers of the handlebars ends. It helps!

RSI grip heaters work great but their wiring instructions were wrong(don't know if they still are). Try rsi white to pol brown, rsi red to pol blue/red, rsi blue to pol blue. This solution was posted a while back, but I couldn't find it in 'search'. Maybe someone else can find it? Good luck.
