mine does this only when cruising and you hit the throttle hard, kind of studders once then revs fine till it hits rev limiter, i have no weight in arms either and i was riding at 2200' so maybe this is part of it also.

Mine stutters too. 300 miles now and I don't think it's as bad as it was at first. Nothing major, but it would be nice if someone figures out why.

studdering

mine isnt really that bad, if i take off from a stop and hammer it it is fine, its only when your barely cruising and play with the throtle from rest to full throttle ill get a quick weird exhaust studder and then goes away. Maybe ill try changeing the plugs but i only have 100km on it.

Just talked to the dealer here and they do have a fix, I was told it's only a adjustment, they did a few sleds already and are happy with the results.
I did not ask what they exactly did. But somewhere at Yamaha they know about it and how to fix it.

That's good! If anyone gets any more specific onfo on this issue, please let us know. My stutter is exactly like lightening800 describes.

I have heard that alot of dudes are having this trouble, but aperently its in the factory yamaha settings, some guy's say you can adjust the CO level's on the dash but I have tried it and it didn't seem to help... hopefully someone finds a cure, mine is so bad I gotta hit it 50 feet before the jump to catch any air!:D

Miss/Studder/Pop whatever you want to call it, this sounds like a fuel delivery problem that more than a few people are experiencing. My dealer is in denial, if someone has had their sled fixed I would appreciate the phone # of the dealer that fixed it. My sled has 1200kms and the problem still exists.

I ride at 0-1500 feet and mine has no problem at all, she use to have a little bog when i first got her, after i hit about 700kms she seems to have worked her self out, i also went against the dealership and have had her wide open pretty much since new. with no oil change im doing it today i dont trust the dealer im dealing with.

There was another post about this a while back, one of the people said his throttle bodies were out of synch. I went to my dealer and told them about this and they adjusted them under warranty (they were just a liitle bit off). I would have to say it's much better but not totally gone.
