Your ability to tune the sled is far more important than the value that you will gain from your stock pipe to an SLP pipe. The biggest net gain is simply ridding yourself of the weight and restriction of the factory can assuming what you put on agrees with your sleds system. You already did that so now we just have to hope your sled is running in tune with what you have. IE without a fuel controller, and EGT, serious experience on tuning, and a dead on quality clutch package you will not feel or notice any legitimate value in a single pipe over your stocker. Once again this mostly depends on how your sled runs now.
I guess there are actually two answers:
Will you feel the true HP gain...hard to say see the first comments...
Is there a true HP gain or can there be a true HP gain. Answer yes in ideal conditions dyno testing shows that you can accomplish a gain.
