Doing update to 08' M1000 putting the 09' tail on. Wondering if I can get the rear cooler of the 09' and make it fit with the 08' tunnel coolers that mount in the corners. Already have the 09' rear section, bumper, and snowflap. Thanks for any help.

The 09s use a 90 degree hose connection. I believe I have read that the stock 09 hoses will work. Worse case you have to go to the parts store and match up hoses.
I just converted a 07 153 to a 09 `62, but I put 09 162 coolant tubes in with a crossfire exchanger.

The 08 I just sold had an 09 cooler on it, worked fine & didn't look all that tough to adapt. I didn't do the work, but it looked like it matched up fine.

Just finished doing this to my 08 M8. Use the 09 heat exchanger, 08 won't work without alot of work. You will need the 09 rubber hose, because they are bent at a 90degree. You will have to splice the 08 hose and the 09 hose together, found the splice at home depot. Everything else works fine. Also the 09 heat exchanger covers the hole in the 09 rear tunnel...

Thanks for the info., I was trying to avoid buying new tunnel coolers and it sounds like that will work with the 08 style being left in, using the 09' rear. Will be ordering up the rest of the parts tomorrow.
