I wish I could see the damn photos! Stupid filter at work... anywho, glad to hear you were able to get back out there on your sled Matt... and in less than a year. Simply amazing!

glad you got out. Never doubted you would pull through and get out. It's amazing the support you have gotten!!!

If you ever have to come back to Rochester for checkups, I'd be willing to buy ya a :beer; or a pop.

Matt you're the man! You're a tough dude and living proof that prayers and hard work pay off!

So inspirational!! I'm sure that you just really wanted to get back on the snow, but you leave the rest of us in AWE!! May your healing continue and you keep your backside on that sled! :p

WOW! So wonderful to see pics and hear about the HUGE steps you've made!!! :present:

Thanks for taking the time to share with all of us!

Matt, you have no idea how good it is to see these pics of you back on the snow. I really thought it could be years before you were able....but I guess a little of that Potratz determination and God's grace and look at you now. Great Job! I'm really proud of you, Dad:cool:

Wow matt that is so awesome i have been waiting for that post because i knew it was coming! Some of your family members were at our church in deer park, wa when the avy happened. The church has been praying for you ever since. You and your familys strong faith in God has been amazing thru this ordeal.

You, my friend, are indeed proof of the power of faith and prayer..... May god continue to heal you..........your strength of spirit is evident.........the quote of having the strength of 10 men because your heart is pure....reminds me of you.

In christs love....jen

I first and foremost must thank God for answering hundreds of prayers, next to family, friends, and all of you guys, and then the crew at St. Alphonsus hospital in Boise for helping me heal and believe I could be Matt again!
AMEN to that Matt.

Looks like your guardian angle has been working OVERTIME at your side all these months.

MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS on your recovery!!

Matt, I just was able to get to your post after talking with Amber to find out where you posted. We both have an amazing testamony of how great a God we serve and that we all need to support each other cause we only have one life to live and none of these things we have except people, mean anything. I am so glad to have been able to have helped in whatever little way possible and in the future possibilities. I thank Amber for her caring spirit of people to have connected us together. Keep up that true spirit of LIFE and keep inspiring us as hopefully we also do for you. I'll be paying you a visit hopefully in February and get a chance to ride with you and see what else we can develope for the riders that are physically impaired. We are working on an electric power steering for those who do not have a lot of arm strength. Maybe I'll have a version when I come out. Great pictures and God's blessing again to you Matt.

Congrats Matt!!! That is so amazing, and an amazing feat of self discipline! If you want more inspiration..look at Mike Schultz. Keep up the hard work, and proving others wrong! :D
