Do you REALLY need to change drivers when Turboing a Nytro?

there seem to be very different experiences on this topic. I believe that the best success is going to be achieved be watching two things (regardless of what type of drivers you run).

1. heat!!!! It is the enemy. don't run your sled without scratches and watch where and when you let her rip (hard pack)

2. Keep your track tight!!!!

my 2 cents!!!

If anyone is getting ride of their stock Nytro drivers and they don't have many miles on them(in other words they're in perfect shape) I'll buy them. My sled isn't boosted but after 1,800 miles the drivers are pretty worn. I don't really want to spend the coin on Avids.

Has anyone had good luck using Doo drivers?

driver bs

i have been running stock drivers since boosted , 2 years , tore up one set and it was my fault. run your track tight and get after it your drivers will last a long time , run it loose and you"ll end up like me with a torn track, and atow.

Another way to look at it!

This question was still nagging at me when I asked a Wise Old Sled Head and he said, "Ah...Gwasshoppa, wiff 2.5 twack you will need to wun it tight for cweawence anyhow and betta to smoke dwivas wiff big boost than someting else woff big money."
