ok here it is. new to the sport, 2nd year coming off a 2000 rmk 700. held it wide open the last half of the year!:D so i'm looking at a 07 m1000 sno pro? it is modded pretty hard (i think). rk tech head, rkt secondary, ported, speedwerxs tunnel dump exhaust, 09 skid, challenger 2.5" track, synergy nos, boondocker fuel control, egt gauges, boss seat, 3" riser, i think thats it. maybe more but can't think of it. so what do you think? go for it? any other ideas before i pull the trigger? thanx ahead of time!

I'm sure it's a nice sled but I would never buy someones modded sled. It may be perfect or it maybe a mess. I think if you build it you will understand it and be able to fix it when it breaks. I had a friend buy a modded M1000 last year and when it started having problems we had no idea where to begin looking and it took a lot longer to find the problems than it should have.

well it sounds like saturday morning at 9 am i will be picking up the sled and joining the arctic cat crew!!:D BETTER START DOING THE SNOW DANCE NOW!!

Probably the weakest part of the sled is the DD. Keep the fluid changed and watch for good deals on the planitary. It's a big step from the 700 pol.

I FIGURED IT IS GONNA BE ALOT MORE POWER THAN I HAD BEFORE:D IM LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT !!:beer; A FEW RIDES AND I SHOULD BE USED TO IT. THANX FOR THE INPUT

Start reading, I love mine but it is probably the easiest sled to burn down, My 07 ran great and then fell apart and I had to learn a lot about tunning a big twin. Its heavily modded and your asking for problems, would not recommend it to a newbe. But good luck

Always let it warm up( couple easy miles on the trail ) and never let the egt's get above 1250, the 1000 likes the 1160 temp at wot, and run apv oil.
It will take more than a couple rides, at least 4 if your agressive before you actually start to use all the power.
