Im working on an old 78 kawasaki 440 intruder. Its airbox is missing. My dad was thinking of using air filter pods to replace it, but i was wondering if anyone knows if it needs the exact airbox or not.
Due to it being a 78 kawi, it's pretty hard to find an airbox that's the exact same one as it used to have, so im wondering if another airbox for a different sled would work on it?I'vee read a few threads on here that say using air pods will draw in hot air instead of cold, and i want the kawi to run properly.
If anyone has any information about if the airbox is completely specific to the sled or if another one could be used as a replacement, then I'd greatly appreciate the information.
