So I send in my 3 year old hitch in to get a lock upgrade and received it back today.
It is aluminum and the completely cleaned it up and polished the whole thing!! It's alway good when you get more than you expect.
I love this hitch also because of the internal lock, it can't be stolen. It is adjustable up and down to meet different trailer heights.
