Dissapointed show goer!

Have to agree, lots of good product there to look at and buy. Picked up a 509 helmet and goggles. :D

IF there was a disappointment it would have to be that dinner plans were changed from what was posted and not all were told where the new meeting place was.

It was great to see folks I hadn't seen in a while and meet some new peeps. I think that's always the best part of the show.

I always enjoy the snow show, it gets me really looking forward to the new season.

It was hard for me to miss it this year but it just did not work out.

Hope everybody has a safe season full of adventure and excitement riding the Greatest Snow on Earth.

I wasn't disappointed. I wish I would have sold more stuff in the swapmeet, but the rain didn't help that. It was still worth my time.

Oh the rain....... Sorry to hear Adam. I saw you when we were waiting for the hub. He dropped us off at the front and went to park the car. I would have yelled but I didn't think that was very cute.:face-icon-small-hap I wasn't disappointed either. Were you all by yourself? You looked a little lonely.. Oh and did you introduce yourself to SW Admin???

What's new??? LOL!!! That's the way it rolls. But it's hard when you have to connect with that many people no matter what.:o:rolleyes: I think it should be like riding. Groups... Then connect. You need your cell/radios eh??:face-icon-small-hap

No kidding! LOL I was just hoping that Admin and whoever else read the post and was planning on dinner with everyone got a call.

Went both days and my boy wasn't feeling so well on Sat.
Still not complaining. Saw and met more Great SW peeps on day 2. Sorry to all about not making the Dinner but like I said, sick little one.:(
Honestly the BYU game kinda changed the plans for dinner. Sports Bar ended up not being a good choice.;)

Justin, I hope I read it wrong about you saying that SCHOOLED didn't have technical stuff. I just watched it and I'm going to watch it again right now. It's the best and most informative, technical flick I've yet to own.:D

Here was the last list of people planning to attend dinner...

1-Sunridge
2-Sled Guy
3-Utah Snow
4-Bigrock
5-Dunatic
6, 7, 8- Christopher
9- Justdooit_utah tentative
10- gibsonman-- Messed up and thought dinner was on Friday, Can't make it Saturday:mad: You kids have fun and don't make your parents sit up till all hours of the night waiting for you to make it home;)

Lots of illness, Skybox unable to accomodate a reservation of any size, and last minute plans of various groups meant we gained a couple and lost a few. I think there were 9 who ended up at Geekos. A message was even left at Skybox for anyone looking for our group. Oh well.... like herding cats!

No your right ron! Great movie like the bit about handle bar position. I watched it twice after I got home and once today. I think now that I have watched it more the things are like you said I just wish it was longer and had more to it not that what wasn't in it wasn't advanced. Like chris told me as we talked the only way to become a better rider is to push your limits and the best way to do that is to ride with people who can push you past your limits. I just want to ride anyone else agree with that.

After seeing your Post Title I was ready to throw the Hammer at you. Sorry about the DVD but I thought it was one of the better shows I've seen. Tons of great products and always nice to mingle and chat with all the other SWers.:beer;

Maybe should have called it "Disappointed with Burandt" and left the show out of it.

I on the other hand, bought some product and listened in on a seminar and was very impressed with them.:beer;:D

the seminars are were awesome.
I'm going to try and get myself and the girl friend up to dan adams next level clinic in Alpine this winter.

I listened to Burandt and Rasmussen, and found something very interesting. I have never liked left handed throttles or mountain straps, and Burandt and Rasmussen both said neither uses them nor recommends them. They said you need to learn to do everything with both hands on the bars!! Couldn't agree more!!

My buddy Dan and I talked about the mountain strap and came to the conclusion that these were made to help with the lower bars. Risers have eliminated the need for the mountain strap.

I think that is very much true.

It was good to see all you "winter friends", I liked the 509 booth the best!

I think Steve Merill wins the burnout contest! Freak got it all started then Rock followed but Steve needs new 35" tires due to the power brake! With a cop a 1/2 block away! Boyz being boyz! Good time fellas

Thanks to Jeremy at Motofrugals! and all my buds wiling to help out you guys are studs and I really need to say thanks!

good show

I liked it. think I'm going to ride with mountaincat800 and Burandt in january

I used my mountain strap when I was new to snowmobiling, but haven't used it much if at all in years. I didn't get to one of the seminars, but I agree with that statement. I rarely find a need for those items. Good to see others feel the same way.

Yeah, nice of you guys to stop by and say hi. Especially when you saw that I was all by myself and lonely.:o They should have a little crying smiley to really show how I feel. haha.

No I didn't intro to admin. I walked by the booth and just kept on walking. Sometimes I am a little anit-social. Oh, well.

So this is what you look like when we don't come by and say hi?

I wasn't even past the ticket gals yet when I saw you. Then the hub went outside to look for you and no Adam anywhere. MIA!!!! I was keeping my eyes open for all the Utah legends and didn't see you anymore the rest the time. So I missed my chance. Dang it!! And I take it you didn't join any dinner party either.

I guess I haven't given it much thought, but I don't use my mountain strap anymore either. I think you are right....it's because of risers.

I think it is mostly because you are a better rider now. Risers may have some to do with it, but I think getting better has more to do with it.:beer;:beer;

Yep, that is about right.

Didn't make any dinner party either. Once all was said and done, I just wanted to get home.
