I went to the snow show yesterday and have to say I am dissapointed. After hearing the Chris and Bret were going to be there, I thought I would pickup a copy of their new DVDs. I went to all the DVD booths and found that no one had the Volume 2. I even asked Chris and he refered me to slednecks.com to get one. If I were at a show to promote myself, I would be selling the **** out of my DVD. Wouldn't you? Anyway, I will just have to wait and find the DVD somewhere else cause I'm not going to spend $40 just for one DVD. I had to rant. Thanks for listening. Later.....:beer;

I thought the snowshow was just as "good" or "bad" as always. depending on how you look at it.... I was there with good friends, along with my best friend, so was a good show for me. :):beer;

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the products and the seeing what was there. One main reason I went was to pick up a dvd or two. Thats where I was dissapointed.

After seeing your Post Title I was ready to throw the Hammer at you. Sorry about the DVD but I thought it was one of the better shows I've seen. Tons of great products and always nice to mingle and chat with all the other SWers.:beer;

Maybe should have called it "Disappointed with Burandt" and left the show out of it.

I on the other hand, bought some product and listened in on a seminar and was very impressed with them.:beer;:D

Chris wasn't there to pimp himself.

FYI MMM booth had Burandt backcountry 1 and 2 and schooled as well.

Just as freak said, as good and bad as ever...... just a matter of perspective;)

I saw Chris there.:) Giving his speech and all. We watched mostly Dan Adams while we enjoyed a tasty $7 beer.:D I'm sure it would be easy to miss a few things at the show. Like the movie your referring to. It was a busy place with a lot going on.

It was fun, it gets your mind set that winter is comming.
The best entertainment is watching the parents trying to control there kids from climbing/touching/grabbing everything in site, its not McDonalds Playland but some thought so.:D

Hey those were our kids over by the To Cool Vents.:D Under the stair case. I think it was the only place they weren't in the way. All in all the kidos didn't do to bad.

Same thing here. I wanted some video's too. Couldn't find what I wanted. Lots of great product though. Some eye candy. All in all I give it a 7.

I thought these "seminars" were going to be something other than a sales pitch for you to sign up and pay for their riding clinics. I was a little dissapointed. I bought some Flintz polish, great stuff got some last year and needed a new bottle, and some rescue tape....seems good will see if it save my arse one of these days.

Ya 509 was there they had a booth way on the oppsite end from the entrance. Helmets and goggles with alot of spare lenses, just walked by and did not stop and look.

Q&A seminars with people who know sledding in the backcountry was the best idea EVER!!!! for the snowshow. If anything, keep that going. Good to see and meet some "superstars" of the sport. 'Till next year!:)

I thought the show was great for the little time I was there Chris spent some time and talked to me about allot of stuff and I got schooled was a little disappointed wish it had more advanced things in it. I did manage to find allot of cool stuff even for my older sled but I still spent way to much money I I didn't buy beer.:D Thanks to the guys who put it on.:D

Saw 509, Johnnyquestutah bought a helmet and goggles form them. Looks like pretty sweet gear!

I wasn't disappointed. I wish I would have sold more stuff in the swapmeet, but the rain didn't help that. It was still worth my time.
