Disparity between US and Canadian Price continues

A stable economy? Really?
In the big picture? Yes. Canada has been affected by the recession to a much lesser extent than the US because a larger portion of our income goes toward paying down national debts. Also businesses run with higher profit margins, which allows them to more effectively weather economic downturns when volume is low. Unfortunately, that means you have to pay more for a sled. But it also means when the economy craps its pants, you have a much higher chance of keeping your job.

Ahhh, I misunderstood your point to be that the U.S. had a more stable economy. My bad. Good point you are making, Canada never seems to have any economy or job issues.

1% Interest rate and inflation is less than expected. Good news for those asking banks for money, bad news if your looking for disparity on products. All based on the fact the Loonie is a strong as it is.

what, it costs more to buy a skidouche in canaduh??...when did this happen, how long has this unjustice being going on??

run run, get the word out, write your favorite hockey player of king or whatever goofy leader title you guys have...:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-hap

hmm you'd think that since they are made in Canada they would be cheaper...seeing as Polaris and arctic cat are manufactured in the USA and have tariffs to pay to Canada to import them

No tarrifs or duties on anything manufactured in the US (free trade). Cat and Polaris are just as guilty as BRP in the pricing difference.

From the vids I've watched, it looks like almost everyone up there rides a $30,000. Yamaha turbo. Apparantely you guys can afford it. :canada:

I talked to a doo dealer today and he says the doos will be $1000.00 cheaper this year as BRP is taking baby steps to even out the price difference.
