Different riding areas!

I live in laramie and have been riding the snowies for a year now. I was wondering about some other areas around here, and was going to see if anybody had any knowledge as to riding these areas and the snow they recieve. First does anybody know about riding in the shirley mountains, and the other place was around Jelm mountain. Thanks for the info!

Take a look @ Wyoming range. Ride in from the west out of Alpine / Thane. Ride in from the east out of Pinedale. Look for Blind Bull hut on the maps, great variety of terrain, hills, drops, trees, big open. Worth the drive.

Not sure about the Shirley Mountains. Where abouts around Jelm are you talking?
If you take 230 up past Foxpark, there are two parking areas, Ticks/Wold and Wycolo Area. The trails there are all part of the current Snow's trail system. Encampment, is not not to far for the Sierra Madre's.
Other wise I ride Togwotee it's a drive, but well worth it!

I was actually thinking about riding Jelm mountain itself, I was deer hunting up there and just thought it could be an interesting place to ride if it got a decent amount of snow. As for Tog, I ride up there a lot. but since im going to school down here its hard to get up there as often as I used to. Thanks for the info keep it coming!

I don't think Jelm gets enough snow? Anyways, there's plenty of area in the Snowies to ride that are different from each other, just have to keep exploring.

Tog rocks btw:whoo:

Don't get me wrong I love riding in the snowys. I just get curious about other places that I have been in the fall and summer and just cant help but wonder if i could ride there. Thanks for the info keep it coming!
