Differences between 06 and 07 RMK 600HO

So whats the difference. Looking for a girl sled, seeing a few 06's quite a bit cheaper than 07's so whats the deal?

Is the 06 600 just as big of a flop as the 755/900? or is it a good sled?

Opinions, facts, whatever tell me everything. Please.

Great sled the 06 is. Adjustable handle bars ,storage under the seat,my wife loves hers.We installed electric start and I ported the track and run ice scratchers. It is a 144 where as the 07 is 155 I belive and the 07 is the raw chassis .You will not go wrong with either one.

motors are the same diffrent chassie, the raw chassie is the way to go,i have a 08-shift for sale if intested

I have an 06 and it's been a great sled. Keeps up with the 700's and I haven't even had to replace the belt yet. I would like to update to a fuel injected model sometime down the road.

Substantial weight difference, geometry changes in the suspensions, better running boards, cooling changes, etc, etc. The RAW chassis is a way different beast. The 07 or newer is the way to go IMO...

However, there were no red flags that went up on the 06 RMK (that I have heard of anyway), and if you aren't dragging the sled out to challenge a new rider to some nasty stuff, it will still be a fun ride. It would be more fun on the 07 though...

Good luck! Either way that 600 is a stout little beast!:face-icon-small-coo

The spindles on the 06 make the sled harder to turn than the 07, the 08 is easier still. Holz spindles cure that problem. You will also want a different bumper, the bumpers on the early IQ's stink to high heaven. Do not lift with the stock plastic bumper, you will pull it off. Honest.
