Difference in PP saddles?

What is the difference in the saddles on the '10 vs '08 saddles? Just wanting to know from the people that put their old powder pros on their new '10 M series.

Up until this year Cat always used 7/16 inch dia ski spindle bolts. The new ones are now 3/8 inch dia. If you have the older skis and saddles just drill out the new spindle bushings to 7/16 inch. Install older skis with used or new bolts and problem solved. No need to buy new saddles. I do not know why Cat changed sizes but maybe it is the weight savings to help make up for the new M8 can! Crazy stuff. On another side note: Polaris always used the smaller size 3/8 inch bolts on their skis. I have swapped those back and forth before as well. Hope this helps.:face-icon-small-hap

so ,,,,,,if a guy had the new polaris skis just laying around you could bolt up the new polaris skis on????

Don't know about the Poo's new stuff but I bet they are still 3/8" dia. A guy may want to check the width of the saddle/spindle fit up. The old poo stuff was about the same width as Cat's. I have fit both simmons and PP's back and forth between Poo's and Cat's back a few years on the old chassis sleds.
The rubbers sometimes need to be shaved for a good fit but otherwise no problems.:beer;:beer;
