2010 has a really good motor that gets stronger and stronger as it breaks in. I was impressed from the first ride, and was was really happy after hitting 300 miles or so....It pulls hard.
There will be a few more pipe options next year, and hopefully some better single pipe packages. I am interested to see what JAWS comes up with for twin pipes, I know they can be finicky on these laydown motors, but it will be cool to see how this motor reacts with twins.
I have to say mod for mod the 2010 is the way to go, there might not be a ton of stuff on the market yet for motor mods, but by next year I think we will see more and more power adders to make this thing even more wicked than it already is.
If i am buying a new sled, I am going to naturally gravitate to the new more powerful motor, just makes sense as this 800 is the motor of the future for the M8. This motor had plenty of testing on it before we the consumers got it, and I must say so far so good.
The 10 can be a trencher.........I highly suggest getting the Fox Racing Chris Burandt suspension upgrade for your rear shocks......Money well spent if you want a sled that pops up on the pow and handles the groomed trails back to the truck like a dream.
