Difference between Crossfire body and M series body?

I am wondering what the big difference is between a M series and crossfire body? To me they look identical? It is obviously the track length but from the handlebars and up it looks the same. Is it just the track and brackets for the tracks or is there more to it. For example what is the difference from a Crossfire 144 and an M8 141? they seem like the same sled to me.

The Crossfire has 2" wider a arms and larger coolers in the rear of the tunnel. Also a different seat/gas tank. I do not know this for sure, but someone had told me that the DD and the Drive shaft are at different angles? I do not know that for sure, but someone brought it up. Much of it is the same, but some little things make a big difference.

When they went to the 141 that made the drive shafts the same. The DD is geared higher other wise the same.

yup, after 08 they have the same pitch drivers, and the same angles. It's a 141 M with different arms, cooler, & tank. (12.3 CF tank/ 11.1 M tank I think?)

I love mine!

The trackshaft angle is the same on all Crossfires/Ms.

2006-2008 Crossfires (136") had 9/10 tooth 2.52 pitch drivers, 2009-2010 Crossfires (141")has 8 tooth 3 pitch extrovert drivers.

2009-2010 Crossfire Rs (128") have 10 tooth 2.52 pitch drivers.
