Diesel up to almost $4.50?

I was paying 4.05 for a long time at a shell when all the other stations on island were 4.45+. One day they shut down, drained the tanks and presto they were up at 4.45 with everyone else. pissed me right off...anyhow, we went up to 4.85 for awhile but we are down to 4.75 at the moment.

$4.28 here. Put $70 in yesterday and it didn't even get over the half mark. I'm not going to complain, as I work for somebody now, and this fuel will get me through the week. When I was self employed and doing alot of driving this wouldn't have lasted 2 days.

I filled up the Jeep a couple of weeks ago and hit the 75 buck limit. Never done that before, well, not for the little Jeep anyways. Fricken diesel prices...

At least things get a lot cheaper when I drive the KLR to work. It consumes all the crap old gas that I won't put in the lawnmower... ha ha

Alaska is now #1 in the nation....for highest prices! $4.47 today
From the local news:
Move over, Hawaii -- you no longer have the highest average gas price in the nation. Guess who's taking your place.
Monday's average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Hawaii is $4.24, about four cents less than Alaska's average, according to AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
Hawaii's average price has dropped 29 cents from a month ago.
