When I start my 7.3 stroker f350 in the morniings, I get a little puddle of fuel on the concrete towards the front of the motor. What is causing this?

Thanks for the help,

MX

Same thing happened to mine a few years ago! The o-ring in the fuel line that goes to the filter is shrunken. Needs to be replaced, not a big deal. My brother did it for me in his driveway. Seems to only leak when the truck is cold, right?

" Seems to only leak when the truck is cold, right?"

Right.

Pro,

Right and right!

So what is the fix, new filters or new housing?

they have an updated fuel drain valve from ford around 50-60 bucks i think, real easy to install, make sure it has the yellow o rings and not the black ones.the prob is the o rings shrink in colder weather when they get aged, and it leaks fuel

on that 7.3 their is a drain for the fuel filter, the valve should be yellow in color, sometimes when changing the filter after draining the basion the shut off gets dirt in it,
