Didnt know where else to put this

So I am selling my sled deck and have it listed on Kijiji, I got this email from a Richard westbront "hello, kindly get back to me if your item still available and the asking price." So I reply to it with the requested info, and he sends me back another email "Thanks for your swift response to my inquiry.I'm Okay with your
asking price , and i don't want you to bother yourself about the
shipping,i have a good local shipping agent that will be handling the
shipment of this item down to my new residence as soon as the payment
has been made.I live in Alberta but currently not in town for now am
out for a business trip.
The payment will be made Via Canadian Check payment which will
contain both the asking price and the shipping fees, and no shipping
and no pick up arrangement will be made until the Check Payment is
received and cashed by you, then you will be sure of payment..i will be
needing your full mailing information so that i can mail the money to
you,such as

Full Name:
Full Contact Home Address:
City:
Province:
Postal code:
Cell/home phone number:
Your last selling price:

As soon as this is received ,I will be mailing the payment
right away with no further delay, and the purchase can be completed .I
will look for your email later.
Regards"

So with that kind of response I get a bit suspicious, so I type his name into google and this comes uphttp://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-other-SELLERS-BEWARE-OF-RICHARD-WESTBRONT-W0QQAdIdZ268046276

So I kindly send him an email back asking if this was him or not, and now I havent heard from him. just giving everyone a heads up about this guy.

Doober:

This is a very old scam, run from it!!

How it works is, you deposit the check, and you see your account go up by the transaction amount.

Looks good right?

NOPE!!

Several days later (sometimes just a day or two) when your bank tries to get the money from this guys bank, it comes back as a bogus check.

Before this happens, the buyer is all over you to get your merchandise before you discover this.

He gets your stuff, is gone, then your bank calls you and says there was a problem with the transaction and reverses it. You are left holding the bag, and your sled deck is long gone!!

Do NOT ever even reply to these scams...............

Thats why I sent him that last link, so he would know that I am on to him.
Holy I just got another one, I knew scams were out there but come on, it is worded exactly the same, this one is from a Louise fippe
