Has anyone heard any news about Nick Musters' attempt to break the world record of greatest distance in 24 hours by a single rider?

NEW WORLD RECORD - SKI-DOO’s 24 HOUR RECORD BREAKING FOR BREAST CANCER
March 9, 2011 – Baysville. On March 8, 2011 long time snowmobile enthusiast, Nick Musters, a 5-year employee at Northland Recreation (local Ski-Doo dealer in Utterson, Ontario) beat “world record” for the most distance travelled in a 24 hour period by travelling 3069 kms on a snowmobile with his last lap being the quickest at 3.56 minutes averaging a speed of 155kms. His efforts in this venture included raising funds and awareness for the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation who financially assists breast cancer patients across Canada.
This exhilarating event took place on Lake-of-Bays starting from Norpoint. The track of approximately 10 kilometres in length encompassed Bigwin Island and was officially surveyed by Robert M. McDermott Surveying Ltd. Each lap was monitored by professional timekeepers and filming of laps took place to add extra validity. Top performance and safety were made possible with the help of qualified support staff including: Bombardier Certified Technicians, EMS Paramedics, Fuelling Personnel, Local trail grooming staff, and an event coordinator. Constant communications with Nick were possible throughout this venture by high end radio systems provided by Racing Radios where Nick shared his on-going enthusiasm the entire time.
Nick had always wanted to do something creative to raise money for the Foundation and this was his perfect opportunity to do. Snowmobile and ful attire generously donated by Northland Recreation and Ski-Doo/BRP Inc. and safety vest donated by Tek Vest. Nick was able to beat this world record using a 2011 Ski-Doo MXZ TNT 800 E-tec snowmbile.
“I always knew about the Kelly Shires Event, but had never helped out with it before. I love getting involved in the community but what really stuck me was one day when I was working at Northland, we got a call that one of the ladies, Elisabeth Dill, had broken down on her machine during the Kelly Shires Event”. As always, the team at Northland rushed out to pick her and the machine up. Nick Musters was the lucky fellow who was sent to rescue “Liz” and her machine. During this rescue mission he had the opportunity to talk to her on the journey back to her cottage. What Nick quickly realized was there wasn’t anything wrong with the machine at all but rather Elisabth was in her final stages of breast cancer, she died a few short months after. “This really hit home for me”, says Nick and since then has been wondering how he could get involved. As funds are still being donated to the this event an official tally on the amount raised is not available to announce at this time but currently sits somewhere in the $15,000 range but that will certainly be exceeded as the machine that Nick used to break this world record will be sold or auctioned off to raise more funds.
