Has anyone gone and combined a Cat track and used Avid Extrovert drivers. Looks like i am going to have to snip the little tabs off between the windows?? otherwise the avids wont seat like they should. Anyone try this?? Yah i am trying a Camo cat track off a -M-series Cat on my Apex. I am shredding the Mavricks. Also it's clipped every second window,is it going to hold up to the turbo??

I put a Cat Power Claw track on mine with Avids, you do need to cut the small nubs off on the outside of the windows. Piece of cake with a sawzall, was done in 15 minutes and you can't even tell they were there in the first place. I think you could get by with cutting every other one, but if you'd happen to ratchet and end up in the wrong windows you'd have the same problem again. So I just snipped em all off.

As far as how they hold up with every other clip in them, I can't tell you that. I've got about 200 miles on mine, maybe less. Everything seems just fine so far. You, Blair and Brendon should get your butts down to Afton next week!!

Thanks Boys

I did it last night and that is the tool exactly. Took me 1/2 hour and i was done. I will have it together tonight. Made a tool today for the 36MM nut on the upper jack shaft. Everything is looking good.
1 1/2 hour tops and she will be ready to go.
