Detonation

I had a spark plug wire come off through detonation I suspect. As well I'm experiencing limp mode issues. Any positive thoughts??

Hello

In my opinion detonation would not cause a spark plug wire to come loose but a loose spark plug wire will derfintley cause a runnability issue that the DET sensor may "think" is detonation.

I would encourage you to replace your spark plugs and spark plug caps and see what happens

I had DET issues one morning. Put it back in the 87 octane mode and put in fresh gas and no more issues.
