DET. Code? Pro rmk 800

First part of the ride in two feet of fresh snow was great till I got down to about 1/2 or 1/3 of tank of gas and I started getting det. codes. So I would shut it off and start it again but when I would go wide open I get another det. code and the throttle would be limited. This happened another 5 or 6 times till I got back to the trailer. The only thing I did differently this ride was fill up from a different gas station but it still was 91. And if it was the gas wouldn’t it would of done it the whole ride?? Did I hurt the motor at all? Should I get some water in fuel treatment or what?? Thanks

Check your fuel lines 2 pros in your group set det7 and we found fuel lines bad so we did fuel pumps and a new filter. Fixed both.

Ok, I can try that but, how do I know for sure if that’s the problem and not something else.

I keep it in a heated shop so maybe moisture got in the tank. But I don’t know.

Low fuel typically reduces fuel pressure a bit if the system is already compromised by clogged filter, bad pump, or bad lines. I agree with the previous post. You can check for any sign of internal damage by looking for metal flecks on your spark plugs.

Filter is meant to be replaced but the Oem are expensive. Find an aftermarket one try it. you have to have a hose made up to check your fuel pressure that is the right way to do it. The other thing you said was it was fine when the tank was full then after you got down to half a tank it started setting the code. You could have a hole in the fuel line.

Well I replaced the old fuel filter. Here is the old one. I cut it up bad but do you think that old fuel filter could be the problem?
