Coming to Denver for a few days and would like to find a good Polaris Dealer or any sled dealer in the Denver area where I can brouse around to waist some time -- Anybody can lend me some help would be great!

g-force

g-force power sports is the dealer i do business with. they have a decent selection of sleds, motorcycles and ATV's. they are off of Colfax just west of Wadsworth.

Vickery Motorsports. Great selection of gear, not so great in the service Dept.

Kieth at Vickery has done an excellent job for me, good inventory of OEM and aftermarket parts in stock--Vickery is POL , DOO, Yami, and is a business member of the Mile Hi Snowmobile Club.(10% discount on parts/accessories for club members)

Maybe for you. But when they try talking a friend into re-jetting his sled and it's fuel injected, I kinda lose faith.

G-Force has also been a solid dealer for me. Plus theres a couple powersports shops within a few blocks of it so you can browse around there too

polaris dealer

vickery motorsports 303-755-4387. good guys. there's a reason this dealership has been around (with a lot of the same employees) since the mid 1970's . imho i would put their engine builders up against anyone in the state.

sam:

bruce is still there. maybe one of the best port grinders on the planet. (well he's a friend and a cool guy too!). i wish we could have hooked up so you could see how our tapex ran. i bought everything i thought would work and then he ported and assembled it. i can't think of anyone that rode that sled for the first time and didn't say "holy sh*t" when they came back.

ps. my 800 etec freeride at 8 psi is pretty nasty itself. we gotta ride this year and maybe get cooker to go if he's still riding.

I was at Vickery yesterday talking to Keith, the tech who did the sled pre-buy talked about on another forum. I saw the pages of notes he made for the prospective new owner. The events are nothing like they were reported.

That guy, and Joe, the other sled mechanic, are sharp. I've been doing business there for 25 years, and although they are human, I classify them at the top of the dealership food chain.

Does anyone really believe they don't know the difference between carbs and FI? It's funny to talk about, but really?

Really. Go ask Mule on BCR. He has no reason to lie. It's a good store, but as far as tech goes, there are many more qualified people setting up sleds.

I saw the two pages of notes that were provided to the prospective buyer. It seemed thorough and reasonable.

Perhaps it's a matter of perspective, but it's so easy to trash a dealer, and some of them try to do what's right. I have plenty of examples of Vickery doing a terrific job.

If you are just browsing, then any dealer will do. None of them in the metro area have a very large selection of gear.

I live in Aurora, and I take my sleds to Spirit Lake in Grand Lake for service if that tells you anything about my experiences.

After Xtreme closed, Polaris owners here were left a bit high and dry. Thank goodness Donovan is getting things going again!
