Delrin washer? or washers? Your opinion... TSS 04

Okay so I've read a bunch of threads about installing delrin washers in the TSS 04. I ordered a clutch kit from Carl's and received it today. On the phone the parts gal said i needed two delrin washers with the kit so she sent two. However in each little envelope that the washers came in there is an instruction sheet from SLP that says to install only ONE delrin washer under the spring cup in the secondary.

I've seen people on the forums here that say to install two and I've seen people that say to install only one.

What is the correct delrin washer set up??? one or two delrins under the spring cup?

You'll hear varied opinions on 1-3 washers. I have 2 under the spring cup.

So is stacking the washers to increase spring load?? or is it to help with spring bind. To me it seems that one washer would be fine to take care of spring bind so I'm guessing adding more washers is for spring load purposes??

cool. thanks guys. I'm going to run two since you have confirmed it. I just wanted to make sure I understood Carl's correctly since the paperwork they sent was saying something different than what I thought they said on the phone.

2 Delrin's it is!

I think most people put one above and one below the spring to minimize binding. If you run 3 you put the extra under the spring cup.

delrins

I run 3, 1 under the spring cup, and 1 on each end of the spring.
It does raise spring load just a touch but helps with upshift and backshift
more than anything. Helps the secondary work more effeciently.
