Decline Of The United States

Got this in am email and I strongly agree with it. Our nation has become apethetic. Very few want to work. Everyone has their hand out. Sad....

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler,
a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves
generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates
who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest
civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years."

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1 from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from a abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out
some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:
Number of States won by:
Gore: 19
Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by:
Gore: 580,000
Bush: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:
Gore: 127 million
Bush: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Gore: 13.2
Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned
by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living
in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of
Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already
having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty an d citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote,
then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years. ----------

Unfortunately, those who pass this on will be members of the taxpaying public, not the freeloaders.

MOVE TO CANADA............Our doors are always open........!!!

Apparently so are ours! Why don't we just send the illegals through to Canada? Then ya'll could speak English, French and Spanish!

We could call it Frenchcanexico!

we already have the Frapcaneseclickclick..... i don't think spanish would fit.....

Dont worry everyone, Obama won in Iowa because he's going to SAVE THE WORLD BY BECOMING PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES :rolleyes:

"with the result that every democracy will finally

Arent we already there? It seems to me like this a-hole has already sidestepped the workings of checks and ballances between the Congress, Judicial system and Executive branches of our government. Our foot is already through the threashold of the doorway and we are on our downward spiral. History repeats itself, and this modern day rome's clock is ticking in overtime mode.

Its Way Too Late Already. Stock Up On Ammo And Matches.the Good News Is The Lettuce Heads And Treehuggers Will Be Rewarded Accordingly When Survial Is The Law.

Well I have to give my two cents on this.

I can sum up the entire problem in one word, and I know some of you won't like it. MONEY! The decline happend when we have just to much stuff.
Of course when we have to much money that means we will be gone more and not in church. (I know what you are thinking, I have fliped out.) But think about it we have so many meetings,working and playing with all those toys we just don't go to church.
Well once that stops people really forget how lucky they are, they turn into perverts, become way to greedy and pretty much don't care about other people. This is when we start our decline.

Look at Rome they became more and more wealthy untill they just couldn't keep from stabing each other in the back. Same way with us we stop working as a country and turn into our own private company.
Just for an example when we were riding with Nate at cooke city.
He took a tumble off of a drop that he couldn't see and broke his sled and almost himself. Three guys watched him do this and they didn't even look to see if he was alright. They didn't want to ruin a good trip and all that money they spent would be wasted. How lame. We don't help each other out,
That is the American way now.

I talked to a lady that thinks she is poor and went on to tell me she only had 6 HD TV's.:rolleyes:

This is were we start to go down "4. from liberty to abundance".

That right there is un-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!! Wow

That tells it all right there!!!!!

I know that we are getting too spoiled when you can’t get the kids to do the low income jobs. They would rather stay home and play on the computer and have the illegal’s come in and take over the jobs.:mad:
