Looking to bid on building some new decks, just wondering how everyone bids? Like their costs and what not. I dont wanna lose money, kinda worried about digging the footings since i'll be digging them by hand....

Better check local building codes before you go too far. Each state is different, as is each county. Depths and diameters can vary from state to state or county to county, thus determining your rates.

It's easy-
Figure your material costs and multiply by 1.36 to compensate for your time to calculate the plans, price check the yards and get the best deal.
Figure your labor down to the hour, add 18% for work comp, 36% tax contribution, and maybe 20% profit.
Add 10% to the job for overhead (insurance, fuel, tools).
Hope the homeowner doesn't hire the uninsured Mexicans that just stole the lumber pack from your neighbor down the road.
