Decal removal. The really big ones

I just stripped all the decals off my hood using a heat gun and started to use WD-40 on the adhesive but switched over to some Xylene that I bought from NAPA in the automotive paint section. The Xylene was 10 times faster than the WD and less messy. I used a microfiber rag soaked in the Xylene and kept folding to expose a clean spot in the rag once the goop filled in the texture of the rag.

How bout a kerosene or diesel fueled shop heater. Elevate it on a stand so you can easily move it for the right temp on the trailer. Would b about the same as a heat gun if put at the right distance but cover a lot more area at once.
