Dealer lost my cheque

OR "What Sled?, I don't remember buying a sled from you."


But seriously it's good you got it taken care of. It's kind of funny. Every time I have bought a sled or ATV they took the check in the following day. I can't imagine what happened and why they waited two months to get a hold of you.

This lost check deal seems to be a common problem with dealers. Could it be the dealers "lose the check" so they can claim the sled was sold later than it actually was and then they can collect some sort of rebate and not give it to the customer. When I bought my last sled this same thing happened to me and I have always wondered about it.

I highly doubt it's that malicious.....if you own a business, you know crap happens all the time despite best intentions. Dealer's might be "crooked" in many of your eyes; because they actually have to charge you real money for stuff as opposed to giving it to you I suppose....but most are not willing to dance with fraud charges and their dealer's licence.

"Lost" could mean all kinds of things.....accidentally sent through the shredder, filed in the wrong folder, thrown out, spilled coffee or chinese food on....who knows. But I highly doubt its a scam to make money. If it is, it's a dumb one because he has now paid floorplan interest on that unit for an extra month or 2.....

If you are asking if I am married up because I didn't travel 10 hours to ride the Troy area this year then I guess I am married up. It is tough to travel that far when there is good riding down here. As long as we are on the subject, how many times have you rode southcentral montana in the last 4 years? You must be married up too.

Sorry to disappoint you but there is no meaning to RonMexico. It's just a handle. Since you are asking about the meaning of handles, yours must have one. Let me guess. One of your old boyfriends gave you yours.
