For sure heavy wet snow down here in our little valley but still snow. Must be awesome up a bit higher. 17" of snow since Friday morning.

Very tempted to make the drive up there from Tahoe and get some riding in. Not much snow out here and make a nice getaway.

@ tigwerks: We have cabins for rent(deadwoodoutfitters.com), food and 3 feet of powder we rode today! and a hot tub.

Didn't make it into the lodge today but we rode in from the Lowman Bear Valley side and the snow was incredible. I would highly recommend a stay at the lodge and take them up on the hot tub.

Thanks for the great resource for that perfect "little" riding area! We rode up near deadwood yesterday and there was plenty of deep powder! Can't wait for some clear sunny days up there now! We will stop in on the next trip up Mike- Thanks again for the snow reports!

It ha ssnowed three inches since 10:00 this morning.
Also looks like I need to shovel the top of the gas tank off

8" of fluffy today.
I went down the road to clear a couple of trees and it was up to my waist when I jumped off my sled, and some pretty sweet boondocking too.
