Dead battery no start ? NEED HELP

It works!!!!!!

Went to napa after work bought a $17 ar201 relay at napa and installed it when i got home pulled the sled over and we are charging the battery YES!!!!! just want to thank everyone who took the time to help me though this problem. thanks TABLEROCK in MN. :)

Relay is a small black box on the clutch side tucked up above the secondary. Follow the wires back from the 2 fuses clutch side....cant miss it. Charging voltage should be 14.5 volts......your relay is pouched or could be something more serious aka regulator/stator. Most likely the relay.

Later

There is the actual "starter" relay just above the battery also. :D
I just relpalced both of mine tracing down a gremlin myself....it ended up being a bad fly racing kill switch.

Gratz now send beer to ........

17$ dam napa must be onto us. Good news its about 50 bones from BRP.

Later

PS now make sure you know how to do the fuse trick or buy the other wiring harness component otherwise if the system dies the sled becomes incapacitated.

pull the lead off the battery or the fuse on the battery and you will know in 10 secs.

I did as you suggested Tuesday(pulled the 30A fuse) and the sled did start/does run with no battery. Nice to know the sled won't leave a person stranded if the battery decides to go south while out riding!
