Let's pick a topic that is easy to debate (yes I mean argue)

Who is your favorite for president?

At this point, my dream ticket would be Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina.

What the hey I will play along. I agree with your dream ticket. Like Both of them. Would even be ok reversing it.
Best president: no doubt Ronald Reagan. We would all be learning Russian if not for him.
One more question? Who has done the most in the last 25 years to make this country safe?
Dick Cheney. Was willing to do whatever was necessary to get the answers he needed to keep a nation safe. We are weaker without him.

Let the battle begin.

Carson and fiorina are the least offensive of the republican feild sanders is a no brainier on the dem side but I don't think I'll be voting for any of the above. Still hoping a really good candidate gets in the race on a third party ticket . Maybe Gary Johnson will run again

Reagan would be my vote in the modern era

My biggest fear is Trump running on a 3rd party ticket.
That would literally hand the election over to the socialists...er I mean Democrats.

We never would have had Clinton if Ross Perot would not have ran on a 3rd party. Sad thing is I voted for Perot.:face-icon-small-dis

Exactly
Trump has way more potential to mess things up than help.

Cruz would be my first choice, solid constitutionalist.
But right now, the nomination looks like it is Trump's to lose.
Don't care for some of his policies, but sure see him as a breath of fresh air in the political circles. So nice to see someone just speak their mind for a change.

Do you want to "hang on to the dream" for a while before everything takes a sh!t? Vote Trump. Do you want to "push the fast forward button" and get it over with? Vote Hillary! Either way folks, she's coming to a head!

Good night for you Fiorina supporters, she did a really nice job in the debate, presented herself as a very knowledgable woman and a great speaker, she really asserted herself. I think Trump is a smart guy and good business man, but is not the guy to run this country. He has good ideas, but when asked to explain how he's going to make these changes, he avoids it, over and over because he doesnt know, he just wants to win.... Well then what. I liked him at first, but I'm starting to think his biggest strength is trash talking, and bragging, and I think thats gonna wreck him, which is fine with me.

Marco Rubio really stood out to me tonight in the debate, very smart, down to earth guy. I liked that he really wasnt combative, he was asked questions and he simply gave answers that were hard to argue. He would have my vote if I were making it tonight. Time will tell.

He spews lies... but I guess that is the standard anymore.

Cruz is my #1. Like Christopher said, constitutionalist and believes in small government and power of the states. (Not sure I trust that politifact site after reading some of the actual statements they are rating. Some are not even from the candidate and they are supposedly grading on facts, but using their opinion on some of their judgments.)

I think Ben Carson is a very smart man with good ideas. You can see the wheels are turning in his head every time he speaks. For me he is just missing that firm assertive quality that a strong leader should have. Maybe he will develop that, but he better show it quick.

Carly Fiorina has really surprised me lately. I would not like to be on that woman's bad side! I haven't heard much about her until recently though, so I'd like to see what she does for a while before placing my full stamp of approval.

Trump may not have set plans in place yet for what he claims to be able to do. However, I think he is smart enough to surround himself with people that have the knowledge to put those plans together. He just better get something together to show people if he wants their votes. If nothing else, I have faith that he would get some jobs and capital generated in this country. He might make some folks mad along the way and only sit one term, but he would at least get that accomplished.
