Dash bag ?

Hi just picked a 17 sba. Looking at buying a windshield bag which the dealer didn't have either in Stock. I would like to know if the large would sit above the sba windshield before I order one. Also if you have the dash bag to how do you like it and does it block the gauge much thanks

I was wondering about these as well. Curious if they heat up at all, be nice to have a spot to warm/dry a spare set of goggles. Guess a guy could always rig an under hood bag from the Pro?

No response cause this is the RMK section not Trail Sled

HCS has a section Full if SBA info ..

Huh, that sucks... So if I pick up a axys assault I can't post of snowest because there isn't a specific forum that says axys assaults?
Not trying to jack the thread or anything, just saying some people like being a Dick I guess

Now on to the original reason the thread was started...

Skinz also has some dash packs that I've heard are well made

The large windshield bag will be above the small windshield, and looks goofy. It fits the mid-high windshield perfectly. It does not heat anything up, but does keep things from turning to ice :)

The dash bag is actually a GREAT item, and does not block the gauge. It too does not heat anything up, but is somewhat warmer than the windshield bag.
I personally skipped the handlebar bag to get the dash bag as they do not work together (rub pretty hard and makes getting into the dash bag very difficult). I am liking not having the handlebar bag on mine.

If you want to warm / dry any goggles or gloves, putting a bag under the hood is the only option that will work well.

Hope this helps - cheers!

my buddy has the Polaris dash bag, i am debating buying one as the goggle compartment is ridiculously small and a pain in the ***. Lots of times it steams the googles.

Is the dash different on the SBA?

If the body style is the same . as i think it is , than its the same bags. I got the large shield bag cause the zipper faces me , the smaller bags zipper is on the top. Just remove the windshield and use the bag in its place, works great but wont get as warm as a under hood bag. The dash bag is also great. I also ditched the handle bar bag. I also use the under seat bag and between the 3 bags iv got more than enough storage.

on my 17 Pro I took off the handle bar bag and got the dash bag for something different. I then also got the nxtlvl windshield bag to add a bit more storage in that compartment. The dash bag I believe has worked just fine. I have a trip out to the Rabbit Ears and Cooke City with it. There was one time where I opened it up and a very small amount of snow just barely got in after I had rolled my sled out but that is it. noit sure how that happened since I had rolled my sled out of a hole before with no snow getting in. Other than that, perfectly dry.

I guess our trail front clip gets us discriminated against... Crossover Sleds Matter! lol

I have the Skinz windshield pack, It's a little smaller than the large Poo bag, quality is very good and the price is about $25 less than OEM. The only bummer is the smaller opening.

I can get an extra pair of goggles, my phone, and some granola bars in w/o an issue and that was all I really wanted it for.
