Any one ever ride out of the Darington area snow park. What's it like?
All trail? or are there some hill climbs and clear cuts to play in?

where is the snow park at in darrington? i have heard about someone riding up there but had no idea where it was and if it is legal. i heard there is all kinds of riding skills up there and usually untouched.

There is mostly trail riding up there, but there are a couple of small clear cuts that you can mess around in. There is also a good little tree section to carve through some trees and mess around down in a valley and creek bottom area. It usually is best to go after the snow is deep, since there is always stumps and whatnot showing through the snow. Obviously don't go up there expecting to be off the trail the whole day. It's more like an after work trip or something short like that.

I see the starting elevation is around 1700 ft. What does it climb to ? The State map shows 63 miles of trail. Is most of it above 3000 feet?

I could be wrong, but i think that the highest elevation you will see is 3,000 ft there. Don't quote me though.

there is quite alot of riding up there. and you do start about 1700 feet but it does climb to almost 3500. there is all types of riding. there is about 4 different area's to ride. my son went up saturday and sunday and he ran a little over 150 miles all weekend and he said there was no tracks except on the segalson side and after that you were blazing trail
