Anybody staying the night before? Is there any place up there to have a travel trailer close to the snowpark?

yeah there is places on both sides of the creek for Rv parking. I have a 32' trailer that I take up every year. I will be there from the 26th on. There are more trailers planning on camping and one I know is already there.

Yep its about a 1.5 miles out of Glacier. You will go out of town and cross the creek and up the hill. When you come to the next bridge that crosses the river. Up the road about 100yards on your left there will be Canyon Creek rd.

Looks like we are suppose to get more snow this weekend. Should be good for the first! Look forward to seeing everyone there. I will be heading to the Mt. tomorrow. So once again thanks for everyone's support and hopefully this turns into something we can all look forward to every year. I also want to thank Dave Hughs, Al Wheeler, Rob and Karen Pederson for helping set everything up. Plus our sponsers once again.

Theres a good sized wash out about half way up that eats long trailers....People do it all the time just be aware.. Look for it and you should be alright, they posted signs last year.
Marty and I (Eddy) will be attending, possibly with wife and girlfriend in tow. Wouldn't miss it on a bet.

Hey guys my dad (MR. Prez) talked to Roy the groomer today and he will have a D-5 cat there tomorrow morning 12/31/08. To start clearing the road in and push the parking area!! So please dont let the road condition turn you away!! Hope to see you all there.

Roadway conditions - update !
I just got off the phone with Roy (the groomer) and Conrad. Roy arranged to have a D5 cat dropped off at 8 AM 12/31/08. He's going to spend most of the day grading Canyon Creek Rd and the parking areas so folks with trailers should have no problems with access after work tomorrow and New Years Day.
A Honey Bucket will be available in the parking lot for those in need.
The groomer is also repaired and back in business, so be careful if you're up there and taking a New Years Eve spin on sleds. The forest service road will be groomed for the New Years Day poker run and BBQ at the tree line into the lake.

Canyon Creek has been groomed today and yesterday the road has been worked on a lot but due to the HUGE record breaking amount of snow we have received in the last week, we have a dozer coming in tomorrow, the road will be cleared completely and ready for the ride on Thursday. The trails and the road will be in great condition, ready for an awesome day in remembrance of Danny Woods & Sheila Rowe! Trucks & Trailers will make it - no worries. This is an update from the grooming owner/contractor - don't listen to the bad - people haven't barely even been able to get up to the mtn and out of their driveways lately since the lowland weather has been so bad afterall there wasn't enough snow to start grooming until Dec. 19th and it's snowed in the mtns heavily ever since. See you Thursday January 1st - it'll be a great day with lots of memories!!!
