I think it's great for a female to win in any racing series. Shows some diversity in racing at any level, whether nascar, irl, nhra, indy, wpsa, hillclimbs, etc. Can't be bad for any sport can it?

Never thought of "googleing" her. Maybe a few other things.
Worked for a family back in 96-97 working on formula A carts for there boys, raced here in the states in a series called the Constructors Cup. A series designed around the european karting format, to help get the American/North American Kids up to speed with the euros. Long story short, we raced against Danica Back then and even then she could hold her own, she could hang with the best of them, Names Like Michael Valiente, Patrick Long, Philip Geebler. Glad to see her finaly get a win, many years of hard work, Im sure hundreds of thousands of dollars invested by her parents over the years. Good to see it all pay off.
she works all the angles, being a girl, being a driver, her looks, body etc. ever seen her website? worth a peek. she is definately high profile especially now with her win.

Don't really follow racing, but it seems like you never hear about the Indy cars anymore. It's all Nascar. Although I would probably start watching if they all looked like her!

This past week media has mentioned every woman racer from Shirley Muldowney to Lyn St James to Janet Guthrie. But if the media people have not noticed, WTF didn't they happen to mentioned NHRA funny car points leader at the moment who is Ashley Force....
