Ok, who else is already completely sick of hearing about her???

My favorite so far is them talking about her great car control. Lets see she just let go of the wheel in the ARCA race, ya ok what car control did she show there I do not know.

In the Nationwide race she drove straight never moved the wheel and the wreck cleared and she lucked out and missed it the second wreck she did the same thing and drove straight into the wreck. Ya that was awesome car control way to go. lol What a joke!!!

She's about the only thing that could get me to watch stock car racing! Just look at how bad the Daytona 500 was. 8 laps in.....wreck. Then pothole fixing for hours. Yay....fun stuff there. I'll take Mississippi mud bogs over NASCAR anyday.

danica has had a long and successful string of finishing mid pack in open wheel racing... does anyone really expect her to do any better in nascar?? i promise ya one thing though, if she does manage to get a single win under her belt it will be start a never ending sack suck by the nascar announcers...

look at the numbers, 1 win in 81 starts in indy car... but she should fit into nascar just fine as she is also a high school dropout....

I beleive the hand off the wheel thing is a open wheel thing right before impact, keeps from breaking wrists? Just instict for her to do that IMO. I have always said she is a 5th place racer at best in open wheel and that is about where she finished in the ARCA race. Her career in NASCAR will be based on her marketability just like Jr's is.

they don't actually drive the car...it's Rc from the pits, that's why there is a antenna on the top!

Im a JR fan but your right on both drivers. I'm holding out hope for JR to step up and take the cup but he isnt getting any younger..... I really like Danica but I don't think she'll ever be a serious threat to win.

Let's just see how great of a driver she is when the series hits the short tracks. We'll see if the big boys will give her any slack when she's holding up traffic there.

First time in a while we have agreed on something!

Some guys just won't like it if a women beats their driver in the NASCRAP racing. A well trained monkey could win sooner or later. Just avoid all the wrecks and don't let anyone spin you out! Not too hard!!!

No kidding shes a marketing machine at best. She brings a new fan base to the track which is why she is where she is. What has she ever accomplished in racing to make her worthy of all the praise she gets. 1 win... ONE all the rest of the races she ACTUALLY FINISHED were mid pack at best. How much more mediocre can you get than that?

Im all for women doing things or whatever but lets make it fair if you DESERVE what you getting its one thing. I fail to see what shes ever done to be in the spot that shes in. There are MANY more qualified people that should have got that spot over her that's for sure.

The only reason most people even like her and is because they think shes good looking. It doesnt have a thing to do with her abilities in a race car.

Like it or not, marketability is more important than driving ability.

Driving ability alone will not get you the opportunity to showcase your talents.

Marketability without driving ability will give you the opportunity to showcase your "lack of" talents.

She has marketability & driving ability.

Certainly not top flight ability at this time & I personally don't expect anything better than medeocrity from her.
But there is regularly 10 drivers (25% of the field) that will never be better than medeocre at best & we're not calling for them to give up their seats.

Her presence is without a doubt good for NASCAR, and I am quite sure that she could outdrive any of the yahoos who come onto the internet & bash her.
