anyone else have a starting problem with the d8s? i have the last flash ,it runs good but if i sits for 10-15 mins then i start it it fires but dies. then the only way i can get life back in it.is to hold it wide open and pull..its going to run into someone doing this, with the new flash they did check the TPS they said it was low..but now its worse then b4... im sure this is my last polaris.

I have had that happen to mine twice in 230mi
mines like 5-6 a day!
karnedge..do you have the 1/11/flash or the early 10 flash? the latest flash was supposed to fix it...did the dealer use digital wrench or a multimeter to check the tps?..needs to be checked with a multimeter...also heard the champion sparkplugs are worse for this..iridium plugs help(havent tried them though)...
i have the latest flash ..like 1st ride on it..it ran good on the flash before this but same thing..didnt like short stops to start. now after the shop did the newest flash it`s worse, they just said the TPS was low..i would think when i pick it up from the shop its all good...im thinking its time to trade it in on a grizzly quad. and then look at a sled for next year(not a polaris) i dont think its to much to ask to have a sled run trouble free for at least one year

Had this problem with mine(D8 08') with the latest flash.It had a low idle and hard to start sometimes but I found I was using too much oil.Pulled the secondary off and could see the oil pump lever was not returning all the way.I sprayed it with wd40 and worked the gas lever until it started returning back and now this thing starts with about half a pull with no throttle at all and idles perfect.
