d&d dyno results on 800 ho

i believe it was on a crossfire but the hp and torque would be the same as an m series right??? cause they dyno right off the motor right?? if so looks like the numbers are good at 8000rpm so if my 2010 le runs 8100 -8200 would gearing it down keep it in the hp and torque better @ 8000 rpms?

yes they are the same, they are the same sled just different track length, a arm width, gearing and few other small things.

what were the hp numbers??

you would make changes to your clutching to bring RPMs down but I don't think your stock tachometer is that accurate

no im not changing i was just asking because it would seem to make sense for u to want to run at the rpm that all the power is at if im wrong tell me i just dont understand why you would want 300 more rpms at the loss of 10+ hp

Yes, you are correct, you want your peak RPM to match the engines peak power, but you don't do that with gearing, you do it by changing weights or springs in the clutches

You want the engine to over-tach a little going down the trail so on the hill it is in its sweet spot.
