cutting stock seat

has anyone cut down the stock 13 seat? I like the lowered height of the wrp seat, but also like the shorter length of the 13 seat. so i'm thinking maybe just cut out 2" of the stock seat. do I need to put a harder foam in there, new seat cover? just looking to see what people have done.

I was thinking of doing something similar. I plan on cutting as much as I can off of the rear of the seat, back to the support post. First I will take the staples out and cover off. When I am done cutting, just re wrap the seat with stock cover, staple, trim excess. Still would like to see if someone else has done this as well.

I have a 12 seat though......

i cut mine at the beginning of the season by analyzing i believe matt entz seat or one that looked exactly like it and i love it, finally a flat surface to sit on! and low profile for hop overs.
