Do you have to change the limiter straps when putting M series drop brackets on a crossfire? It's on 06 Crossfire 7

Thanks,

Mike

No, but you will need the rear suspension scissor arm out of a 06 M7. You'll need this because the M7 drop brackets are wider, so you need a wider upper shaft where you bolt the suspension to the drop brackets to make it work. Just got done with mine. Hope that helps.

Pal did same mod but he just put ½" wide blocks both side of the rear arm so stock skid could be used. You need to pull the blocker inside of the front skid shock to get more travel. It's also ½" wide aluminum part so you might use it as a rear suspension mounting piece.

Is there a wright up on the shock mod your talking about or is it something a shock shop needs to do to it? Also would you need longer limiter straps?
