Crazy terrain you've seen around the Northwest...

I use my sled to access skiing here around Utah but would like to find some new areas and was wondering what areas you guys might recommend. I would like to find some crazy looking terrain that is skiable... cliffs, pillows, etc but was just wondering if you guys had any ideas?

Any pics or good recommendations?

PS. I still like to rip around on my sled too

Crazy Mountains (outside Clyde Park, MT) and Bridger Mountains (outside Bozeman, MT) would be two places were I have seen some big hills that would look cool to ski

Im actually from montana, I've been to some hills around Big Sky last year but I haven't been to Bridger since I was just a tike. I'll have to look up Clyde Park. I've never heard of it. Thanks for the info

Scroll down in the column with the red sled and look at the 12 pics in the gallery. Most of those are from the Crazies.

Also, Cooke City/Top the World is another good place to go

Thanks

Thanks for the posts. I've actually been to Togowotee and it was super sick looking although I don't think I got to the area that you had in the pics. I'd love to make it up to Pemberton area although I don't know if I'll ever get that far from home.

Im thinking about trying McCall or the Crazies next time I go for a trip. What areas or trailheads are good?

I've personally only ridden the Crazies once as the snow there can be hit or miss

However, when I rode we went down the Cottonwood Bench Road. Then we went into Rapid Creek. There is Trespass and Rapid Creek.

I'm no expert, but you might post in the Montana section for more help

if your crazy enough to want to ski it your probably crazy enough to boondock there...
