That looks like its within a mile or less of where they had that accident in June that closed the road for several hours. Pretty narrow in there and steep.

I have been thinking the same exact thing! I guess I will have to try parking up the Brian Head area. Have you ever parked and ridden to the back-side from there?

I have but there is not going to be near enough parking for eveyone that cant get to Midway. I would say go early. They are having the snowmobiles park in the lot across from Georgs Ski Shop in Brian Head or at the entrance to Brian Head Ski Resort Manitance shed. No parking along HWY 143 between Brian Head and Mamouth Creek.

Mine too, chair 3. Ive skied Brianhead more times than hatch has slapped his monkey. Then I figured out it was more fun to go up than down

ya know you might be a bit aged when it was the "old Navajo lift" that you rode to ski.

you know the one i'm talking about- it was right next to georges ski shop, just shy of the "T Bar" Lift

I found out today that the road was opened as of Monday afternoon. Now I can finally sled up on top. Too bad the snow will likely be in rough shape!
