i got a summit 800 05 it came with a crank shop pipe installed. do you have to jet it differently? or what should the jet be?

the reason i ask is i recently had a pistons blow up(doesn't look from lean cause but from ring catching a port). but im double and triple checking to make sure this engine is okay. my polars has to be reflashed for the slp pipe...

Run it and check the piston wash with a bore scope. I like running mine with about a 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch of wash. I have seen alot of pipes need to be re-jetted , but very little.

What jets are in there now? They should be a 400 stock.

what do you mean for wash? like the clean edge vs the carbon area in the center where the gas mixture has been coming in?
these are what the pistons looked like before the ring caught a port
