Craigslist, is it safe?

I think criminals will use any tool to there advantage. Guns dont kill people, and craigslist didnt commit those crimes. I use craigslist and ebay everyday, and buy and sell quite a bit. I dont know what i would do without it, i probably should figure something out,the govt. will want to control it next.
You do have to be careful on both i have covered my butt on numerous occasions and glad i did. It is hard to trust just anyone. The ones who cannot speak/ type in clear english, steer clear of....

I haven't had a bad experience yet with Craigslist... I bought my 800 RMK, my Predator 500, and my Scrambler 500 off there and I sold my Predator 500 on there also, nothing but a good experience here, but you do need to think with your head and remember that it is the internet after-all.
I bought My enclosed off of CL. No problems. You can have problems on any classified system. There is always a$$holes and thieves willing to take good folks for a ride. If they ask for cash up front of it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

is there a way to search all of the usa for one specific item? say a trailer? or do you have to look thru each town/county? thanks

Use www.craiglook.com It uses Craiglist's database but uses it's own code to sort by price, location, etc.
Best way to surf Craigslist by far, since Craiglist's website sucks.
