Cracked secondary on 11 Pro....

I also posted this on BCR. Today I took apart my secondary to put in a delron washer. Between the two clutch halves is a brass washer that allows the belt deflection bolt, and tool to open sheaves up presses against. This washer was bent into the inside clutch bell and cracked the clutch right under where the gold cup is placed. I dont know if it needs replacing. But i'm affraid the crack goes 1/3 around the center area. I tried to find just the inside half of the clutch on the micro fische, but it doesnt show as a seperate part. I also looked on TEAM website, and cant find the clutch half there either. Does anyone know if just this part can be bought seperate? I just purchased the additional 4 year warranty, I know bushings, rollers, pins, weights and belts are not covered, I wonder if the actual clutch is?

If you look up the team sheaves, it will only show both as an assembly. This does make sense, as the two are balanced together. The small parts, cup, washer, clip, etc. can be ordered separately. I would think it would be a warranty item.

This is a problem we see sometimes when working on tss-04s and tss-98s that have a lot of mileage and high tension springs. That steel washer wears into the aluminum clutch halves and causes all sorts of issues.

I would think that would be a warranty deal.

Warranty,,Whats that? i usually loose that 2 days after it comes home ,,I cant keep my hands off her!!!:face-icon-small-ton

I found a 2009 take off clutch from a dragon 800, is this the same team clutch as the 2011 pro? They are different part numbers, but take the same helix and belt numbers.???? Only a couple hundred miles on it.

Same clutches both are tss-04. I think i read some where that they were the same size splined shafts to.
