My sled came over backwards and landed on the right side corner under the windsheild! and broke! it now has a 4 inch crack stitched together with zip ties for now! i will fix it at the end of the season but want to know what kind of bonding material works best on the arctic cat hoods! thanks

I use zip tie bonding material!! :D

That or a light aluminum plate (chunk of old tunnel) riveted to the back.

Mine is getting worked too. I've tried two different kinds of epoxy and that didn't work. I've broken the zip ties too. Now I'm just going to rivet a piece of aluminum on the back side.

i cracked mine last week repaired with stuff called 3-bond rode for the first time yesterday and it held up well :face-icon-small-hap

All of the above....but put some two part "liquid" epoxy between the hood and metal before riveting. It fills all gaps and holds up a little better. I also use soft rivets (alum) so as to not break the hood any more

cracked my 06 m7 hood back in 2007 right at the strap down corner section, got this stuctural adhesive from napa made by 3m part #051135/08101 red/white box two part mix, its held up over the years so far, it mixes into a whitish color so apply on the inside of the hood area, prep your hood area with acetone or rubbing alcohol to remove any grease/oil, roughen up with sand paper for a good bond, hope this helps.
