CR500 ?'s wiring hand warmers and headlight

Just wondering how you guys wire up headlights and hand warmers. is there enough stator to run both? anyone wiring in a battery for reserve power? What are some of you doing and what wires are you tieing into. thanks

Stock stator wont power anything really. I use a 200watt Eline stator and a battery. Lots of power. Spendy to get one though.

Yu can add a lighting coil to the existing stator... Then I used AMe hand warmers with their Lithium battery.. I installed them behind the number plate myself then when I get home take off the number plate in the house and charge them.. They will last 4 to 5 hours depending on the level.. For me it has to be pretty cold to use them because gauntlets keep my hands way warm enough and those can be found for cheap. Mine have a spot to put a hand warming packet in them if needed also.

The stator is the best bet but 800 is steep for a used stator

Millar Racing will have a plate you can adapt a CRF stator to the 500. Prob be a lot cheaper and a easy solution. Cheers
