just bought a brand new CR 174 tunnel but chad rebec said that his side stiffeners wont work with the racers edge skid that ill be putting in... so i was going to have a set made by a laser outfit in town, but i dont really know what size they are. can someone give me some pix and sizes of theirs ? the ones im going to build wont be dropping down through the tunnel to double as suspension mounts, just stiffeners along the side to prevent a kink..... my tunnel is at powdercoat so i cant really measure it.....

You could just buy Chads and trim the drop bracket portion off. i've seen other tunnels like that.

I bought a couple sets of tunnel stiffeners/drop brackets from Macs Machine, I'm sure Trevor could have a set built for you without the drop bracket portion. I bet he even has the dimensions for the CR tunnel wrote down from when he built the ones for mine on my previous Apex.

i must have missed that last part, who is this trevor guy, wheres he from and how can i get ahold of him ?! thanx duke

Trevor still has this set of brackets I pulled off in late 2010. I had to install the ones in the previous pic to accomodate the longer C to C 174. You could trim the bottom off of them if interested. Macs Machine in Sicamous, he is the Western Canadian M10 dealer. His # is 250-836-3648, great guy.

the racers edge skid comes with tunnel stiffeners.

I have a CR tunnel and i had Darrel install one of his skids , he makes his own brackets that stiffen the tunnel , all mounts on the inside of the tunnel , i have an extended chaincase and it is worth the $$ to have the skid builder mount it .

I think I understand what you are looking for, and if all you want is the "tunnel stiffners" and will install your own suspension drop brackets, CR sells these too. They are called M10 Decor plates. That's what I have on my CR tunnel and I run Timbersled suspension. They look like what you have pictured, but don't have the suspension tab on the bottom. Chad must not have understood what you wanted. The part number is CRM10DEC.

Same as SNAFU said. This is what your after. Just for looks and 'stiffen' the tunnel per say. You can get them from chad. Decor plates, or tunnel side-plates. He will understand.

I built my own with sorta skinzs style running boards on a CR tunnel. I took abit of work. Im happy with it. lazer cutters took to long so I used a plasma cutter and ratta bits. along with jig saw and lots tools. then the powder coat and 470 aircraft rivets.
